I believe in making the engagement / wedding proposal count. It's like making your first impression for the rest of your married life. I also like it when celebrants include the story of the proposal in their wedding ceremonies. It's a nice story to hear and usually gets a few laughs and smiles from friends and family. The bride and groom have the chance at their wedding ceremony to retell their stories.
