Welcome to my celebrancy website. My name is Elaine Searle and I am a Commonwealth authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant. I live on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and perform ceremonies in all areas of the city and Metropolitan Sydney and the Blue Mountains. I would love to have the opportunity to meet you and discuss ways in which I can help design the wedding that is right for you. I am a professionally trained Marriage Celebrant, registered with the Commonwealth Attorney General's Department, and am also a Justice of the Peace.

The best aspect of having a civil ceremony is that you are able to have your wedding where and when you want it, and be personally involved in the development of your ceremony. This means that you can include information about your own relationship and anything else you consider relevant. The ceremony we design together can be as simple or as elaborate as you wish. Every ceremony is important and receives the same high standard of care. You can be assured that whatever your choice, the end result will be the right ceremony for you.

I would encourage you to involve family and friends in your ceremony as they are usually honoured to be invited and it makes your day all the more personal.

Remember, I am available and happy to assist you at all times.I generally charge $500 for a marriage ceremony. This includes all meetings with you, email and phone discussions, writing your ceremony, performing the ceremony and preparing and lodging the legal documents. I can assist you by providing facilities for playing music at your ceremony, a table and chairs for use when signing the register, a voice amplification system and microphone for readers

  1. Elaine is a a very dedicated celebrant. She pays attention to details because ceremonies are important events and they must be right. She will pay attention to all of the administrivia and paperwork which will take the stress out of your event. She will dress appropriately for the occasion and this is important because she'll not only be at your ceremony but also in your photos. If you have special requests then she'll do her best to accommodate them.
